October 2009
October has
just started and we are so busy. We have a few more shows to go. I thought I would stay ahead of the game. yeah right ! So
here is a little news. We took Melody to her first show under saddle. She truley was a star. She needed more of
a warm up to have her settle a bit she missed a lead but we were so happy and proud of her. She is going to a
show on the 11th and will be shown by both a Jr. and Adult so with a good warm up under her belt we should have some
good news to report. I just adore this mare! What a great brain she has. Everyone here is doing well and we are so busy!
Praise God!

as always. Westwood Prophesy was double Jr Champion Colt. We must also thank our wonderful friends that came and
busted butt for us. Big news for us this month as we have gone partners with Adele Bailey of Fox Cry Farm on a lovely
mare her name is Tantallon Classic Elegance. She is a 14 hand Bay mare with big, bold beautiful movement. We thank Adele
for letting us in on this lovely mare.......the best part is she lives here with us and I get to play everyday with her.

June 2009 I have
just been too busy playing with babies to update the website. We have a lot of news to share. We started this year at the
PC Show in BelAir it was Westwood Prophesy's first time out. He was double Jr. Champion colt and Resv. Grand! WOW we just
love this guy. Prophesy then went to PC #2 ad was double Jr. Champion B colt again. ( and it was full of some super
nice yearling colts) Prophesy , only a weanling had his work cut out for him. The next stop was Upperville, Prophesy was 2nd
and we are so proud of this guy. I call him my favorite which is subject to change daily but because he is so entertaining.
He makes me laugh all the time (ok) most of the time.

We took our Westwood Prophesy to his first show. What a great little man he is! Prophesy is not even
two months old. We started him off with a body clip two weeks before . A schooling session here and there. He had a 1st
bath and a first trailer ride he was amazing like he has done it everyday. He went into the class with Mom and was just
perfect he never made a wrong move. We are so Proud of him. Westwood Prophesy was Double
Jr. Champion colt and Reserve Grand Champion.

September 2008
This has been the most amazing Devon! Philipians 4:13
I can do everything through him that gives me strength.
Let me start by just
thanking God for prayers answered and for blessing us with such wonderful friends. Most of you know Nick came
home to finish up his breeding. Elly decided if I could keep him in shape she would drive up ,ride him, then take
him back to the SC. Nick was not ridden in almost 4 months. Tuesday AM we took Nick out for a tune up , a clean
up, and out he went. That pony never missed a beat placed 8th in his suitability for 4 yr olds , and for any of
you that are not aware that is like a blue anywhere else. The next class on Wensday was the Stallions undersaddle
WOW what a class of WOW! Nick was 7th in that and I can't stress WOW enough. Or as Klause would say ENOUGH!
The most excitment for me came when we showed in the 4 and over Stallions in hand. I took one look at those Stallions
and said yes you guessed it WOW. We showed , took Nick back to his stall. I went to see how many were left in
the class to show still about 4 or 5 left and the volunteer watching the scoreboard ( by the way she was wonderful) said do
you know your Nick is on the callback list? I said" WHAT! " I could not leave that scoreboard.
I watched as each of the remaining Stallions went in. We watched the scoreboard he dropped a placing.
Now Nick in 6th place still on the callback list. They announce as soon as all the scores are in we will update the
callback list. Then we hear .... The list stands! We will proceed with the presentaion as soon
as our last Stallion is in the ring. Oh in case you are wondering, we were the last Stallion .
Running as fast as I could to get Nick into the ring seeing 5 big beautiful warmbloods and then Nick trotting into the ring.
WOW what a thrill. They called his name for 6th place and the cheers came from everywhere. I wanted to say it
was magical but we shall say it was Heavenly! It will be hard to match these memories. Nick won the NASPR
class. We also showed the two yearling fillies in the Breeders group and Get of sire (Thanks to Dena Radosevic
and Margaret Ragan) for bringing Westwood You Wish 3hrs to the show for us. (They are the most wonderful
people) Thank you! The babies received the nicest comments. I must also send out a huge
thank you to Elly she drove that long distance and put out 200 % for us. Nick and Westwood Welsh are lucky to have her
! I must say it takes a special trainer to take a 12.1 hand Stallion and show him in a world of big beautiful
Giants. Please take the time and look at our beautiful photos from Devon. Thanks to everyone who made Devon an experience
to remember. A huge thank you to Nick's fans ! I can tell you first hand he loves it
We are pretty sure this has never been done by a 12.1 hand Stallion at Dressage at Devon before.

Thank you everyone who came out to see and cheer Nick on! The Grand Champion class was great Nick's filly Westwood You

June 2008 has been busy so
far. Bel Air Welsh Classic was a great start. Rose was named Champion and Reserve Champion Section B mare. Penn-Mary
Del Champion and Reserve Champion section B Mare . I schooled Rose for her Western classes , (as you all know)
NO ONE! rides my Western Pony (except me) . Joyce Heinz is the only other person I trust with my Western Mare I
decided to have her show Rose. They looked Amazing. I am always riding and can never see how good she looks.
This pony is such a blast! She loves to work. She gives her all. I just love this pony. Joyce had a blast! We can't
thank her enough for the beautiful ride. (we know it is all the pony) but she did have to get the buttons right. Thanks
to the whole crew here at Westwood Welsh. Now for the breed class photos.

Westwood Welsh would like
to thank everyone that made this show so successful. Hershal and Karen, they always do an awesome job with Rose.
Rose and Hershel click together so well, and when the Beautiful Farnley mare picked up the other Championship Karen stepped
in and was quite the showman. The Amazing braiding of Suzie Weigand. How she does it I will never know. She had
a better idea of our classes then we did. We came in the next morning and like magic she was all braided and looking (yes
amazing). We must also thank Joyce Heinz for many years I have had Joyce braid, show in hand, this was the first time
she ever sat on Rose. And what do we get.........Champion! Now for my girls that I just don't
know what I would do without, Kayleigh Fretwell , Sammantha Tompkins, Lindsay Smith, Cheyanne Bigley. A
huge congratulations to Emily Smith she took our Rose into the English Pleasure division placed 6th in working, stake It was
Emily's first show ever!!!!!!!!!! Great Job by all !!! A huge thank you to all that came out to see our girl go! Thanks
for cleaning all that silver too Bev~I am so sorry if I messed up the spelling on anyones name. A huge thank you to
Janice Thompson for most of the beautiful photos on our website. Janice takes the most beautiful photos ever..........except

May has been a great month
for Westwood Welsh. We took our beautiful Westwood Unforgetable (Mia) to the yearling filly class at Devon.
Mia made the top 10. We were so proud of her. Mia has always had her buddy Westwood You Wish to show with and
this time she had to be a big girl. She handled it like the show pony pro. We all just love Mia she has the greatest
disposition. We are very proud of her. Here are some photos we would like to share.

November 2007 So much news to report. The last two months were a blur, they went
by so fast. Nick and Elly started
off in Raleigh NC with a bang. Nick won his breeding class and all of his undersaddle
classes. Southern Hospitality
Breed show in GA was next. Nick scored a 77 in hand, won his undersaddle, and
Materiale and the Championship. Dressage at Devon was the last show of the
season. Dressage at Devon is about the last place you will see a 12.1 hand
pony showing but if you were there what a wonderful thing it was to see. Nick
and Elly lit up the ring. They placed top 10 in each class shown. WOW! We had the honor of Bettina Drummond and Elly Schobel present our two Nicodemus girls in the Get of sire and Breeders
Group We placed 9th in the Breeders group. The girls were a real hit. As they were being shown they played (It's a small world) October 20th 2007 Watermark Farm ASPR Inspection We started the day with Westwood you Wish and Westwood
Wish Kayleigh and Sam showed these girls in the morning the off to Homecoming
they went. (What were they thinking) The afternoon it
was time for Fox Cry Raindrops on Roses and Westwood Unforgetable. Rose was handled by Klaus Shaneberger and I handled (Mia) Westwood Unforgetable. WOW what an awsome day for the Westwood
ponies. Westwood Wish scored a 7 and a first Premium Westwood You Wish scored
a 7.6 and a first Premium (I must say not a bad job by our two young handlers) Of
course they had a good teacher. Fox Cry Raindrops on Roses scored a 7.9 and the star of the day Westwood Unforgetable scored an 8.5 First Premium Premiere and was Site Champion Fox Cry Raindrops on Roses was Reserve site
Champion.
